FRP Rods
Glass fiber reinforced rods are made with Indores proprietory INDOLINE technology and high heat resistant resin. These rods can be used both as central and peripheral strength member in multi tube, uni tube, slotted core, drop cable, FTTx cable etc.
Key Properties of INDOLINE
High modulus and tensile strength keeps the fiber strain below 0.25 % during the cable lifespan.
Available in diameter ranging from 0.3 mm to 6.0 mm
Narrow dimensional tolerance of diameter and ovality
Minimum Bend Radius provides flexibility with the right amount of anti-buckling
Superior Long term aging property - Indicates long term survival in severe conditions
Adhesion with wide variety of jacket material
Longer lengths per spool – low scrap and higher line efficiency
When cables needs more strength, protection from rodents and water, our world class coated glass fibers are used as a peripheral strength member.
The fiber is coated with special resins to protect the glass fiber during cable production that adds strength. Customers can choose from a wide variety of tex and colour options.
Key Properties of INDOFLEX CGFR
Available from 600 tex till 2400 tex
Offers high coverage and spread
Lower consistant thickness gives an uniform cable diameter
Water Blocking properties protects cable from water seepage
Comes with balance packaging leading to ease of processing
INDOLITE is manufactured using very precise technology with Aramid Yarn and proprietary resin system. These are then coated with a polymer offering balance of peel strength and adhesion . INDOLITE has been specially developed for the upcoming Fiber to the home (FTTX) cables, where ARP rods with high flexibility and good adhesion to jacket are required. These are used for peripheral reinforcement embedded in a PE/PVC/LSHF type jacket material. The cables manufactured with ARP rod, are lightweight, flexible, with sufficient anti-buckling property and higher in strength to facilitate easy installation even in very small bends.
Key Properties of INDOLITE
Very Good adhesion of rods to jacket materials facilitates maximum transfer of load to the rod
Very narrow diameter tolerance and ovality
Long continuous lengths per spool – low scrap and higher line efficiency
Available in diameter ranging from 0.40 to 1.00 mm
Low minimum bend radius with right amount of anti buckling property
Up jacketed act as a rigid strength member for fiber optic cables which demonstrates superior resistance to strain caused by thermal contraction or expansion. It improve low temperature performance of fiber-optic cables through the use of a polymeric upjacket for rigid strength members with a reduced coefficient of thermal expansion. In such type of arrangement, rigid strength members are jacketed with a cellular polymeric material, a copolymer of polypropylene, to avoid low temperature differential contraction. The use of a cellular, rather than a solid, material reduces the overall material cross-sectional area, thereby reducing the total contractive force.
Several side benefits include reduced cable weight, reduced material consumption and easier field preparation. Another advantage of using a cellular material is that the effective transverse rigidity of the central member is closer to that of the buffer tubes. This reduction in transverse rigidity makes the central member less likely to indent the buffer tubes during cable crush, as would be the case for a more rigid central structure.

NDOSTEEL family of coated steel wire have been specially developed for the up-coming Fiber to the home (FTTX) cables, where, Memory free Wire with very low bend radius and good adhesion to jacket is a must. These are used as peripheral reinforcement embedded in PE/PVC/LSHF jacket material. Indosteel would be suitable for aerial drop cable, FTTX cables and figure 8 cables. Long continuous lengths with very close diameter tolerances make it suitable for trouble free high cable productivity.
Key Properties of INDOSTEEL
Memory Free from bends
Very narrow diameter tolerance and ovality
Corrosion resistant
Low bending radius
Good adhesion to jacketing material
Available in diameter ranging from 0.40 mm to 2.00 mm
EnergyCore is an advanced composite carbon fiber core specifically designed for High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductor. It is manufactured by pultrusion process using special carbon fibers and proprietary high temperature resin system to ensure the highest performance and durability.
The core is covered with an electrically insulating glass fiber layer, which increases the core performance and flexibility, in addition to protecting the aluminum strands from galvanic corrosion. EnergyCore is qualified according to ASTM B987 from an internationally recognized lab.
Key Properties
EnergyCore is lightweight
exhibits key features like high tensile strength
low coefficient of thermal expansion
high glass transition temperature (Tg)
Non-magnetic and non-conductive
it's perfect for HTLS conductor for power transmission with minimal energy loss
Water blocking tapes are wrapped around buffer tubes or conductors offering water resistance over long period of time, without being messy. The semi-conductive water blocking tape facilitates complete insulation and protects the cable against water ingress as well.

MDN water swellable yarn is widely popular for semi dry and dry fiber optic cables, instrumentation cables and power cables (medium and high voltage) by manufacturers all over the world.
When the yarn comes in contact with water, it swells and fills the gap between the components of the cable, preventing the spread of water. These are made using polyester yarns and coated with liquid SAP to impart its unique swelling property.
Key Properties of INDOSWELL
No residual dust
Excellent water blocking property
Ideal replacement for the messy SAP Powder and Gel
Size Range - 250 denier to 6000 denier
Cost effective solution
Has a high breaking strength
